Summer Choir at BCSM

Ages 7–12

Join us for a joyful summer of singing together at Bucks County School of Music. Our Summer Choir for ages 7–12 is a fun and supportive ensemble experience where young singers build confidence, develop their voices, and experience the excitement of making music as a group.

Whether your child already loves to sing or is just beginning to explore their voice, Summer Choir is a wonderful opportunity to grow musically, make new friends, and prepare for a beautiful final performance.

Enrollment is limited to 15 singers to ensure a strong ensemble experience and individual attention.

Participation in Summer Choir requires availability for the final concert on August 28, as the performance is the culmination of the program.

The final concert will take place at:

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

The performance will feature a live accompanist on the church’s grand piano, creating a beautiful and professional concert experience for family and friends.

Led by an Experienced Choral Director

Summer Choir will be directed by Caitlin Stein, who brings many years of professional choral conducting experience. Under her leadership, students will develop ensemble singing skills, strengthen their musicianship, and grow in confidence while preparing for the final concert.

The repertoire for the program has already been thoughtfully selected, and we are very excited about the music the choir will perform this summer.

Attendance & Travel

Summer schedules can include vacations, and we understand that families may need to miss a rehearsal.

If a rehearsal must be missed, students are required to schedule a makeup voice lesson with one of our BCSM voice instructors to review the choir music and remain prepared for the final performance.

What ages is Summer Choir for?

What should my child bring to rehearsal?

Students should bring a water bottle and a pencil to each rehearsal. At the first rehearsal, each singer will receive a binder with their choir music, which should be brought to every rehearsal throughout the summer.
