Amy Brandt is passionate about helping students of all ages discover their unique voice and explore the world of music. With over 10 years of experience as a vocal teacher, Amy blends technical expertise, creativity, and voice science to help every student reach their full potential. Whether you’re just beginning your musical journey or preparing for auditions and performances, Amy’s teaching creates a fun, dynamic, and inspiring experience that sparks self-expression and builds confidence.
Amy holds both a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and a Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy and Performance from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, where she was fortunate to study with inspiring pedagogues like Nova Thomas, Sally Wolf, Kathy Price, and Susan Ashbaker. As a performer, Amy has enjoyed singing with respected ensembles including the Philadelphia Philharmonic, the Juilliard Orchestra, the Princeton Community Orchestra, and the Westminster Choir.
On stage, Amy has portrayed leading opera roles such as Zerlina in Don Giovanni by Mozart, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi by Puccini, and Mademoiselle Silberklang in Der Schauspieldirektor by Gottlieb. These experiences have shaped not only her vocal technique but also her approach to character development and dramatic storytelling. Amy loves helping her students embrace the theatrical side of performing, bringing characters to life with energy and authenticity, whether in opera, classical, musical theater, or contemporary styles.
Amy emphasizes healthy technique, artistic interpretation, and building each student’s confidence both on and off the stage. She is especially passionate about guiding students to develop strong acting skills and stage presence, so they can truly connect with their characters, enjoy making music, and shine as performers.
Amy looks forward to welcoming new students to her studio and helping them achieve their musical goals wherever they are on their journey.
