I am a college level jazz musician.
My primary instruments are jazz guitar and upright bass.
Growing up I have always wanted to sing but never could find a qualified teacher. 

Luckily, after extensive research online for vocal teachers I discovered Kara. 
I have been taking lessons with her for a while now and she's wonderful.
I always have many questions for her in my lessons and she always has a knowledgeable response. 

I feel like I'm progressing and finally learning how to sing properly with someone who knows their stuff.

Kara teaches a variety of subjects: piano, music theory, music history, and vocal lessons. She gives great examples on how to improve every time. She teaches a variety of techniques, and encourages her students to try different genres. She doesn’t just teach by the book, which I really like. She suggests other ways of learning, and she also suggests other fun materials and tools to use besides (in my personal opinion) the boring book. She builds your confidence by giving positive feedback. She is gentle with critiques but honest. I like that! I fully recommend Bucks County School of Music.
